Absolutely! When the battery runs out, the ST202 seamlessly transitions into a traditional bike with 0 to 5 levels of pedal assist. The battery can last for 60-80 KM and it only takes 5-6 hours to be fully charged.
Fun Functional and Pretty
The bike is sweet. Its zippy, can do 50kmph on the flats. My issues with the bike are very few, mostly to do with assembly. For example when connecting the turn signal wires, mine were neither different colours, nor marked which end was which. The internal connective wires look snappy and I initially connected them wrong, and I was afraid to disconnect and try again. It turned out fine.
My biggest issue is not with the bike itself, but the insuring nightmare its features create for Canadians. Because it goes over 32kmph but still has peddle assist, it doesn’t qualify for ANY type of vehicle insurance. Yet, because it goes so fast, if you are pulled over, you will be expected to have it insured and also have a motorcycle licence. This has been my bane for almost a month now, with all my struggle still to come. (because all my efforts have so far been for nothing)
TLDR: Great bike, Canadians be warned it is an insurance nightmare.
High Quality Ebike
This bike was a breeze to put together, however, unwrapping it took longer than the actual assembly did. So much tape and plastic wrap. The build quality is great, this bike looks like twice it’s actual price. The green color shown in the photo on the amazon listing is actually a bit brighter than the one I got. Not really a problem. It came with everything shown and everything is working as intended. EXCEPT FOR…
The smartravel app that they advertise with this bike. The app is a royal pain to use. You have to re-pair your bike to your phone bluetooth every single time the bike is turned off. Also, for some reason, it wants me to input a “GPS number” which I do not have. On top of that. The app only connects to the bike when the bike is actually powered on. This cannot be used to track your bike if it gets stolen, you must be within bluetooth range for it to connect to the bike. If the bike is off, you can’t connect. The app is more of.. a ride companion I guess? But other apps do the GPS job way better. The app isn’t worth installing or messing with. (I recommend just buying a GPS unit and hooking it up to the bike, it’s what I did, got to protect a nearly 2000 dollar investment, ya know?) I didn’t think the app being garbage was enough to knock a point off.
The bike however, is worth the money.

Good all around ebike
I like it 🙂 this thing can climb hills and goes over 30 mph. It has good brakes, turn signals and a little storage compartment. It seems built to use mainly with the throttle only function based on my experience.
Some considerations:
It is very heavy, the seat does not adjust, and does take some getting used to – even just moving it around. I’ve done a lot of bolt tightening and some fit adjustments to dial it in. With over 200 actual miles on it I’m mostly satisfied. Expect to do a little adjusting and if necessary troubleshooting. They have ok customer service if necessary.
